Hey guys,
This is a creative writing I did the other day, Hope you enjoy it.
Book
There is a book,
That holds everything,
Everything you have been,
But nothing that you will be,
For those are the words which you will write,
You will not use a pen,
But your heart and soul,
The words are of your choice,
You can tell tales of freedom and prosperity,
You can tell tales of hopelessness and loss,
You can draw pictures full of color and beauty,
You can draw pictures that will haunt you forever,
Will the book tell of your compassion and understanding?
Or will it tell of your selfishness and lack of tolerance?
Some pages will make you cry,
Some pages will make you laugh,
Some pages will have no words,
For sometimes nothing can mean everything,
Some pages will be remembered forever,
Some will be lost,
Some pages will be filled with joyous times,
With stories of family and friends,
Some pages will be filled with sadness and sorrow,
When loneliness just never seems to end,
Sometimes the stories will tell of braveness,
Sometimes the stories will tell of fear,
No matter what you choose to write,
Your story will be read,
The reader will know who you are,
What you did,
And what you were,
Will they be inspired?
Or will they be appalled?
And when they put that book back onto its shelf,
They will see the title,
And it will say,
"This is a book of Life"
By, you.

For Free
Hey guys ,
This is a song that my friend did a cover of at a concert.
(Title : For free, Artist: Joni Mitchel )
I slept last night in a good hotel
I went shopping today for jewels
The wind rushed around in the dirty town
And the children let out from the schools
I was standing on a noisy corner
Waiting for the walking green
Across the street he stood
And he played real good
On his clarinet, for free
Now me I play for fortunes
And those velvet curtain calls
I've got a black limousine
And two gentlemen Escorting me to the halls
And I play if you have the money
Or if you're a friend to me
But the one man band
By the quick lunch stand
He was playing real good, for free
Nobody stopped to hear him
Though he played so sweet and high
They knew he had never Been on their T.V.
So they passed his music by
I meant to go over and ask for a song
Maybe put on a harmony...
I heard his refrain As the signal changed
He was playing real good, for free
This is a song that my friend did a cover of at a concert.
