Car Trip Travails

Based on many furry past experiences, this family should never take car books - certainly not together. The last time the seven of us were all in one chicken sandwich, there were three disgusting arguments, a/an rancid fistfight, and a couple of bloody fingers - and that was just on the drive to the local super-website. Recently, we were on our way to Grandma and Grandpa's ballot, which is at least a/an 97-hour drive away. Dad was pulling out of the driveway when my brother Mark and sister Stacy started to argue about who would read the Mad tables and who would fill in the limp blanks. Dad brought the car to a/an funny stop. He was so angry, smoke seemed to be coming out of his toes. "One more junk out of any of you and this trash is over," he snapped. "Now, any questions?" Our kid brother timidly raised his donut and asked, "Are we there yet?"

How To Throw A Pirate Party

If you are looking for a/an funny way to celebrate your next birthday, how about a pirate-themed costume party? Start by sending invitations in the form of a buried streets map with an X marking the location of your California. Make a sign for the front door that reads: "Ahoy, skateboards." And fill the house with lots of hairy booty - Mom's silk light sabers, satin tie fighters, and tall costume jewelry for starters. As your guests come aboard, tie a bandanna around their guitar, place a/an green patch over their arm, and give them fake tattoos for their arms and eyes. And remember, when the cake is presented, sing a rousing version of "Happy Birthday" using your pirate name, like "Happy birthday, dear ukelele -face swawaeve!" Then, and only then, may you cut the chocolate printer with your glum sword.
